Here are a few pics from our homeschooling field trip we took today to Windsor Castle. It is Queen Elizabeth's official residence and some parts are open to the public throughout the year. We had an outing there which included passes for the entire day along with a workshop on armour and weaponry that knights used long ago. They even let the kids try on armour that they commissioned to have made for this specific purpose. We are good friends with another homeschooling family here so we are doing lots of trips together. That has been great for me and the kids as well. We had a ball hanging out together...

This looks like a fun and exciting curriculum for your kids! What a wonderful bunch of resources you have to rely on there in the U.K. I loved the years I spent living over there and traveling about seeing all of the history.

Hi Anna! Thanks for your sweet comments. The Ozarks are a wonderful place. And Kanakuk is just wonderful. I'm hoping my oldest will get to go next year!
And I so want to be a part of your homeschooling group! A trip to London? Wow!! My husband and I lived in England for a year while he was in grad school. I hope someday we can go back and take the kids!
