Lego Building 101

Legos are a course in our homeschooling...seriously. They love them. They use their imagination and follow directions. It is a wonderful tool that I can go to when we all need a five minute break! During that time and after school is finished, they have been busy putting this together. These cars have provided hours of playtime and been an inspiration not only for lego construction but also for artwork as well. This is one of their first joint builds. I hope there will be more to come!

Project grade: A++ CLICK TO MAKE THEM GINORMOUS (that is from ELF)!

The proud builders with their finished project.

The entire complex...including the racetrack with the big screen in the middle so spectators can see the race.

Good job guys! for our first lesson in Engineering taught by Professor Houmes, we'll be learning how to construct a robot out of legos that will retrieve beer from the fridge for your dad and I as we watch The Office on tv

Funny John...

The boys say that they will build a robot that retrieves juice boxes and sweets...you will have to build your own! :)

This looks so familiar. My sons are now 21, 17 and 15, and the only difference is the complexity of the set (and the cost!)

the legos are spiffy, but your children are beautiful ( soon to be handsome) Congrats on choosing Homeschooling as the means to their fullest education.
